Ratings and reviews are the foundation of trust on KOVR. They help employers find the best talent and reward workers for their hard work and reliability. High ratings lead to more shift approvals and priority for premium opportunities.
How It Works
After every shift is completed and approved, both the employer and the worker have the opportunity to rate each other on a scale of 1 to 5 stars and leave a written review.
Star Rating Categories:
- 5 Stars – Excellent performance, went above and beyond.
- 4 Stars – Great work, met all expectations.
- 3 Stars – Okay, but room for improvement.
- 2 Stars – Poor performance, missed expectations.
- 1 Star – Unacceptable behavior or serious policy violation.
What Employers Rate You On
Employers typically evaluate workers on three key areas:
- Punctuality – Did you arrive on time and stay for the full shift?
- Professionalism – Did you follow the dress code and behave appropriately?
- Quality of Work – Did you complete your tasks effectively?
Viewing Your Ratings
You can see your overall rating and read individual reviews on your **Profile**. Employers can also see these when reviewing your applications.
Tips for a 5-Star Rating
- Be early – Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before your shift starts.
- Follow instructions – Pay close attention to the shift description and on-site briefing.
- Bring a positive attitude – Friendly energy is highly valued in hospitality and events.
- Communicate – If you're confused or have an issue, ask the manager on-site immediately.
- Double-check your work – Before clocking out, ensure your station is clean and tasks are complete.
Rating Employers
Your feedback is just as important! Rating employers helps other workers know what to expect. You can rate employers on:
- Clarity of instructions
- Work environment and safety
- Professionalism of on-site staff
- Accuracy of the shift description
