KOVR's Instant Pay feature lets you access your earnings immediately after your shift is approved. No more waiting weeks for a paycheck—get paid when you need it.
What is Instant Pay?
Instant Pay transfers your approved earnings directly to your linked debit card or bank account. Most transfers arrive within minutes, though some may take up to 30 minutes depending on your bank.
Instant Pay Requirements
To use Instant Pay, you need:
- A verified identity
- A linked debit card or bank account
- Approved earnings from a completed shift
How It Works
Step 1: Complete Your Shift
Work your shift and clock out as usual. Your hours are automatically submitted to the employer for review.
Step 2: Employer Approves Your Timesheet
The employer reviews and approves your worked hours. Most employers approve timesheets within a few hours of shift completion.
Step 3: Cash Out
Once approved, your earnings appear in your KOVR wallet. Tap Cash Out to transfer the money to your linked account instantly.
Pro Tip: Enable automatic cash-out in your settings to have earnings transferred immediately upon approval—no manual action required.
Fees
Instant Pay has a small processing fee:
- Debit Card – 1.5% of the transfer amount (minimum $0.50)
- Bank Account (ACH) – Free, but takes 1-3 business days
If you don't need your money immediately, you can always choose the free bank transfer option instead.
Transfer Times
| Method | Speed | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Instant (Debit Card) | Minutes | 1.5% |
| Standard (Bank Account) | 1-3 days | Free |
Limits
- Minimum transfer – $1.00
- Maximum per day – $5,000
- Maximum per week – $10,000
Higher limits may be available for workers with established payment history. Contact support if you need to request a limit increase.
Troubleshooting
My transfer is taking longer than expected
While most transfers are instant, some banks may take up to 30 minutes to process. If it's been more than an hour, check your card details and try again, or contact support.
My transfer failed
Common reasons for failed transfers include:
- Incorrect card or account details
- Daily limit exceeded
- Card not eligible for instant transfer
- Bank rejected the transfer
The funds will be returned to your KOVR wallet, and you can try again or use a different payment method.
