Your security is our priority. Since KOVR handles your professional identity and your earnings, it's essential to keep your account protected with modern security practices.

Updating Your Password

We recommend changing your password every 6 months or immediately if you suspect your account has been compromised.

  1. Navigate to Profile > Settings > Security.
  2. Select Change Password.
  3. Enter your current password and then your new, strong password.
Strong Password Tip: Use a combination of at least 12 characters, including uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using common words or personal info like birthdays.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA adds an extra layer of protection. When enabled, logging in requires both your password and a code sent to your phone or generated by an app.

  • App-Based (Recommended): Use an app like Google Authenticator or Authy. This is the most secure method.
  • SMS-Based: Codes are sent via text message.

Recognizing Suspicious Activity

KOVR will never ask for your password via email, text, or phone. Sign out of your account if you are using a shared device, and periodically review your Login History in the Security settings to ensure all active sessions are recognized by you.

Social Logins

If you use Google or Apple to log in, your KOVR security depends on the security of those accounts. Be sure to enable 2FA on your primary Google or Apple account as well.

Reporting a Breach

If you lose access to your account or see transactions you didn't authorize, please contact our emergency support line immediately.
