Posting a job on KOVR takes just a few minutes. Our straightforward process helps you create clear, attractive listings that reach qualified workers in your area.
Before You Start
To post jobs, you'll need:
- A verified employer account
- At least one location set up
- A valid payment method on file
Creating a Job Listing
Step 1: Start a New Job
From your dashboard, click Post a Job. You can also access this from the Jobs tab in your navigation.
Step 2: Choose a Job Type
Select from our preset job types or create a custom role. Popular options include:
- Event Staff
- Server / Waitstaff
- Bartender
- Kitchen Staff
- Warehouse Worker
- Brand Ambassador
Step 3: Set the Details
Fill in the essential information:
- Date & Time – When does the shift start and end?
- Location – Where will workers report?
- Pay Rate – How much will you pay per hour?
- Number of Workers – How many people do you need?
Tip: Competitive pay rates attract more applicants. Use our suggested rate based on your area and job type as a starting point.
Step 4: Add Requirements
Specify any requirements workers must meet:
- Certifications – Food handler's permit, TIPS certification, etc.
- Experience – Minimum years or specific skills
- Dress Code – All black, business casual, uniform provided
- Physical Requirements – Standing, lifting, outdoor work
Step 5: Write a Description
Add a brief description of the role and what workers can expect. Include:
- What the work involves
- Any perks (meals provided, parking available, tips expected)
- Special instructions for arriving
- Who to report to on-site
Step 6: Review and Publish
Preview your listing to make sure everything looks correct. When you're ready, click Publish Job. Your listing will immediately be visible to workers in your area.
After Posting
Receiving Applications
Workers can apply as soon as your job is published. You'll receive notifications for each application and can review them in the Applications tab.
Editing Your Job
Need to make changes? You can edit most job details until workers are approved. Some changes (like date or location) may require notifying already-approved workers.
Cancelling a Job
If you need to cancel, do so as early as possible. Cancelling within 24 hours of the start time may result in fees. See our cancellation policy for details.
